Community rules

  1. Adults only. You must be at least 18 and of legal age where you live. Follow the laws where you are.

  2. Follow your local laws. Cannabis law differs wildly between countries and regions. HiFinder is for places where it's legal to enjoy. Know your rules.

  3. No buying or selling. No sourcing, dealing, or "hookups". Posts doing this get removed and accounts banned.

  4. Respect privacy. Never pin a private home or identify other people. Public-ish chill spots only. (We strip GPS metadata from your photos automatically.)

  5. Be kind. No harassment, hate, or spam. That goes for reviews, the Lounge, everywhere.

  6. Report, don't fight. See something off? Use the report button and a moderator will handle it.

Accounts here are pseudonymous: we only require a username and password. Email is optional and never displayed. You can download everything tied to your account at any time from account settings. See the privacy policy for exactly what we collect, and the terms of service for the legal agreement behind using HiFinder.

Before you meet someone

A friend request needs both people to agree before anything opens up, but that is a low bar. You are still arranging to go somewhere quiet with a person you have not met, and this part matters more than the rest.

  1. Meet somewhere public first. A busy park beats a quiet one for a first hello.
  2. Tell a friend where you are going and roughly when you expect to be back.
  3. Make your own way there and back. Getting a lift from someone you have just met means leaving when they leave.
  4. Nobody is owed a meetup. You can stop replying, remove them, or leave, at any point and without a reason.
  5. Something feels off? Block them, then report. A moderator reads every report.

Never share your address, and be careful about pinning spots near where you live.

If someone pressures you to meet somewhere isolated, to go alone, or to keep the plan to yourself, that is the moment to stop. Block them and report it. You never owe anyone an explanation.
