Who can use HiFinder #Link to this section

You must be at least 18 and of legal age where you live, and your use of HiFinder must be legal where you live. One account per person; you are responsible for your password and for anything done through your account.

Your content #Link to this section

Whatever you post, whether a spot, a photo, a review, a Lounge post, or a message, is yours. Posting it gives HiFinder a license to store, display, and distribute it back to other members as part of running the service, for as long as it stays posted. That license ends when you delete the content or your account, except for a copy kept only as long as needed to enforce a report already filed against it, or where the law requires otherwise.

You confirm you have the right to post whatever you upload, and that it does not violate someone else's rights. You are responsible for your own content; HiFinder is not.

Moderation and enforcement #Link to this section

Content that breaks the community rules can be removed, held for review, or rejected outright, with or without notice. An account that breaks them can be suspended or permanently banned. We try to be fair and to act on reports promptly, but these decisions are ours to make.

Third-party services #Link to this section

Some features rely on outside services (map data, music lookups, GIF search, sign-in providers) to work. HiFinder is not responsible for the availability or behavior of a service we do not operate. The privacy policy lists all of them and what each one sees.

Evergreen, the paid subscription #Link to this section

Evergreen is an optional paid subscription, currently 4.49 EUR a month. It includes unlimited public spots, private spots and stashes, Lounge video uploads, larger spot, visit and Lounge photo uploads, up to five of Today's Gems a day when eligible spots are available, all earned badges on your profile and monthly recaps alongside the yearly recap every member receives. Beacons use the same two-hour ceiling and audience choices on both plans. Relighting is free and checks you are still at the spot. It changes nothing about how HiFinder handles your account, content, or data beyond those specific perks.

Unlimited refers to public-spot, private-spot and stash counts. Each Evergreen stash holds up to 20 stops. Photo sizes, photo allowances, rate limits and beacon expiry still apply. Free includes five public spots you own, three private spots and three stashes of five stops. Pending public spots count toward that allowance. Lounge photo posts are included on Free; original video uploads require Evergreen and stay bounded at 30 seconds and 25 MB. Everyone can watch or repost existing clips. Cancelling never publishes private spots or removes collections or videos you already made. Over-cap spots remain editable in their existing privacy setting.

A first subscription includes a 7 day free trial. You will not be charged during the trial, and it converts automatically into a paid monthly subscription at the end of it unless you cancel first from Manage billing in Settings. There is one free trial per email address, so starting one needs an email on your account. If you cancel and subscribe again later, or your email has already had a trial, even on an account since deleted, the next subscription starts as paid immediately.

Evergreen is billed by Stripe, acting as merchant of record (Stripe Managed Payments): Stripe processes the charge, issues receipts, and handles VAT and sales tax, not HiFinder directly. You can cancel or manage payment details any time from Manage billing in Settings, which opens Stripe's own billing portal. See the refund policy for what happens to charges already made.

No warranty #Link to this section

HiFinder is provided as is, without warranty of any kind, express or implied, including any warranty of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, or non-infringement. We do not promise the service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or available at any particular time, and we do not vet, verify, or endorse any spot, review, or piece of user content for safety, legality, or accuracy.

Meeting people, and your own safety #Link to this section

HiFinder connects people who then decide, themselves, whether and how to meet in person. We are not a party to that decision and cannot guarantee anyone's safety, identity, or intentions. Read the meeting safety guidance before you do, and use your own judgment above anything on this page.

Limitation of liability #Link to this section

To the fullest extent the law allows, HiFinder and its operator are not liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damage arising from your use of the service, or from any interaction, meeting, or exchange with another member, even if we were told such damage was possible. Where liability cannot be excluded, it is limited to the greatest extent the law allows.

Ending your account #Link to this section

You can delete your own account at any time from account settings; see the privacy policy for exactly what that removes. We can suspend or terminate an account for violating these terms or the community rules, or close the service entirely with reasonable notice where practical.

Changes to these terms #Link to this section

If these terms change in a way that matters, the date at the top of this page moves and, where practical, we will say so somewhere you would actually see it. Continuing to use HiFinder after a change means you accept the new terms.
